piedra+cruz x IME w/ co-dec & Futuro Fósil

"co-dec" It is the aesthetic sound-visual result of the Chilean-electronic artist Patricio González Cruz, who since 2016 has turned his work under the concept of construction and deconstruction in his work, using an aesthetic codification and sound-visual decoding in his proposal, posing a constant search in the audiovisual stories of our era, mixed with traditional narrative languages and new multimedia technologies.
Founding member and director of Orion Network, a collective and collaborative platform of electronic artists. Common place of interaction, integration and camaraderie of diverse sound and visual artists of avant-garde and experimental electronics.
In 2018, he formed the interdisciplinary audiovisual collective project "Dentro del Mismo Individuo", also known as DMI Live. Project where light and sound are experimented simultaneously in an immersive atmosphere and developing the work under the dogma of collective and experimental creation in real time.
Since 2016 he is part of the rock-industrial band "DRAG" where he is integrated as a musician, sound designer and mixing and mastering engineer.
He is currently partner-director in the "Industria Musical Electrónica Independiente", known as IME Chile: trade association that unites artists, labels, producers and managers of Chilean independent electronic music.
Futuro Fósil presents a selection of productions from 2020 and 2021. Some live, others are compositions for video installations, exhibition music, a remix and sounds of contemplation and hypnotization. A journey of atmospheric, resonant, pulsating and also dark sounds.
Futuro Fósil today resides on an island in Valdivia, Chile. It exists since 2017. It is a sound exploration project; a process of musical fossilization by artist Elisita Punto.
