It’s scorching August heat outside, so I’ll play some of my favourite African and African- adjacent tunes. This is a trilogy divided into three programs. You’ll heat some traditional African music, Ethiopian jazz, a few Afrobeat tunes, a bit of dub/ reggae, shangaan electro and even 1980s South African synth pop. Stay tuned for more in this series.
